Susie Lowndes

Susie Lowndes has studied fine art in Brisbane and London, exhibiting her work there prior to moving to New Zealand in 2008.

She lends her formal oil painting technique to creating emotive images that can often arrive with haunting clarity through awaking hours.

Despite the immediacy of her visions, the process leading to the eventual realization of the painted image can take months, apparent in the fine detail of her works.

Matt Moriarty

Matt Moriarty studied design in Wellington which forms obvious undertones across his multi-disciplinary approach to art making.

As a passionate New Zealander, his work can tend to concern itself with issues of what he deems to consider to be of national significance, both culturally and environmentally.

Masking well researched topics with metaphor and abstract semiotics allows aesthetics to fundamentally drive the appearance of his works.

Alongside his art practice, Matt works as a tertiary art & design mentor and freelance graphic designer.
